Arun Iyengar
Senior Director, Wireless Business Unit, Altera
 
Arun Iyengar is the senior director of the Wireless Applications Business Group and is responsible for leading Altera's activities in the wireless space, including identifying new trends, creating solutions and marketing these solutions to wireless infrastructure developers.  Under Mr. Iyengar's direction, Altera maintains wireless PLD market share leadership and continues to provide innovative programmable solutions for the mobile infrastructure and WiMAX markets.

Mr. Iyengar has been with Altera since 1996 and has held management roles in customer marketing and business analysis. Prior to Altera, he worked as a consulting engineer for several years in San Jose, California .

Mr. Iyengar holds an undergraduate engineering degree from Bangalore University and a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
