president John Mauldin is primarily involved in private money management,

John Mauldin is a prolific author, writer and editor of the popular Thoughts from the Frontline e-letter which goes to over 1,500,000 readers weekly, and is posted on numerous independent websites. He is also a frequent contributor to other financial publications, including the Fleet Street Letter and The Daily Reckoning. His new book, "Bulls-Eye Investing", due out in the spring of 2004, will explain to investors why we are in a secular bear market, and then show them how to find absolute returns in a variety of funds and investments, including, but not limited to hedge funds. John Mauldin is a Fort Worth, Texas businessman, married to his wife Eunice (his favorite Canadian export) and the father of seven children, ranging from ages 9 through 26, five of whom are adopted.
John Mauldin graduated from Rice University in 1972, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 1974. He was Chief Executive Officer of the American Bureau of Economic Research, Inc., a publisher of newsletters and books on various investment topics, from 1982 to 1987. He was one of the founders of Adopting Children Together Inc., the largest adoption support group in Texas. He currently serves on the board of directors of The International Reconciliation Coalition and the International Children's Relief Fund. He is also a member of the Knights of Malta, and has served on the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Texas.
