Susan Kunz
President and co-founder of Solidware Technologies

Susan Kunz is a seasoned executive with over twenty years of experience in management, engineering, marketing, business development, sales, and sales engineering. With over ten years of international experience, Ms. Kunz has worked in large enterprises, startups, and entrepreneurial endeavors. Most recently, Kunz's experience at Sun Microsystems included Director of Marketing and Business Development for the Microelectronics division, Six Sigma Deployment Director, Outbound Marketing Director for Services, and various engineering and marketing management positions. Prior to Sun, Ms. Kunz sold customized digital imaging solutions to the prepress, reprographic and rotogravure industries in Germany. Also in Europe, Kunz held various international product & strategic marketing positions at IBM in the industry and technology segments. Kunz started her career at Precision Visuals, Inc., a Boulder based startup, where she was a software developer and participated in standards committees for computer graphics. As the only headquarters' representative, Kunz was instrumental in setting up the European offices for Precision Visuals in Frankfurt. Kunz is a 2001 recipient of the Tribute to Women in Industry Award from the YWCA, Santa Clara and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho.
